Sosialisasi Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) pada Bengkel Sepeda Motor: Study Kasus pada Bengkel Motor Hera, Kendari

Abstract

Motorcycle workshops are a promising business sector for maintaining and servicing motorcycles. However, this activity poses significant safety and health hazards to workers. This community service project aimed to raise awareness and provide knowledge about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure work safety for technicians in motorcycle workshops. The project involved collaboration with Hera Motorcycle Workshop in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The activities were carried out through coordination, implementation, report preparation, and publication stages. The results indicate that the partner requires knowledge and proper use of PPE in their workshop activities. The project's outcomes are expected to enhance motorcycle workshop workers' safety by promoting the adoption of appropriate protective measures
